In the year of 1976 Transport & Equipment Maintenance Organization (TEMO) was established by the financial support of UNICEF and under the control of director general of health services. TEMO took over the responsibilities of repair and maintenance of revenue based all type of vehicles under health services (From revenue budget)

To run this institute smoothly it was directly controlled by the Ministry of
Health & Family Welfare in year of 1980

In the year of 1982 some of its technical post was abolished and
re-organizational setup of TEMO was included as wing of Ministry of
Health & Family Welfare .
4. Till Then TEMO is still repairing abut 150 vehicles (Dhaka based) only under the control of health services.
5. Most of the vehicles of health services are 15 to 18 years old. For that reason most of the vehicle come to TEMO frequently for repair of different defects. Day by day the repair cost of these vehicles are increasing highly.

Upazilla was repair by TEMO.
